Folk Heritage Museum Kawajangsa is located in the capital city of Thimphu. Such museums help us to understand more about Bhutanese culture and they also preserve the old beautiful memories. We can find Bhutan's own handicrafts, traditional wine here.

Its always a pleasure to understand how our Culture have evolved to this present stage. When we see such Museums we understand what we were and what we are now.

This Folk Heritage Museum of Bhutan is another good example of of preserving the old memories.

The also make here the Traditional Wine here. The wine and some handicrafts etc. are sold here.

There is also a restaurant here who serve Bhutan Dishes.

I liked it and was amused also.

Nice place to visit. It will remind you the heritage of Bhutan. We enjoyed our visit. There is shop near the entrance. You can buy many stuffs from there. In the museum compound they made and sell corn burned wine. That was good.

Must visit in my view as you get to see a traditional Bhutanese house hold . It is an actual traditional home, renovated and refurbished and explaining the functiona of each floor along with authentic items like utensils, tools , weapons and clothing.

You can also have traditional Bhutanese food in the wonderful restaurant in the museum or try the traditional rice wine

Very authentic Bhutanese heritage preserved well amidst mad urban rush for development and growth.
Once inside the campus you literally feel like you are transportation back in time.

Well maintained museum and the Bhutan culture is shown very nicely. Entry fees of 50nu.

Worth the visit. Climb all the way to the roof. It's a great lunch place as well. Do not miss out the traditional way of eating at the restaurant.
