The river view rooms are really awesome. I think the best reasonable place to stay at Punakha which is worth every penny. A minimum luxury with a maximum romantic views and environment. You can hear the river steam at night from the bed which is another thing to mention. After a long drive or tour or hiking trekking around other places in Bhutan I think it’s the place in Punakha to relax.

Amazing resort with great room and delicious food.. the staffs are very professional and helpful.. the Riverside area and lounge is a great place to just sit and relax...

The location is great but the resort is still forming. There is serious lack of professionalism, not organized yet, basis amenities are missing in may rooms. We had to change our room twice due to absence of water in toilet, electric points not working, wardrobe not opening. Above all the rooms are very small. Basis toiletries not provided. However, the behavior of staff is good and the food quality is satisfying.

Very good facility. Particularly the location is really enchanting. The open air restaurant, near the flowing river is a place one will remember for a long time. The main market of Punakha, in near by, almost walking distance.
Though food quality is fairly OK u0026 the rates are quiet reasonable. Though Indian food is available, but Indian tourists should not expect the same quality u0026 taste as in India.
Staff behavior is good.
Regarding the hotel, though locals tell that it is a 3 star hotel, but by Indian standards, it is a good budget hotel. Any way, nothing to complain, it's location u0026 ambiance negates anything bad about this property.

The whole stay just was horrific
The rooms were small
The bathrooms were dirty, there's no heater for the water, we had two rooms so one had only cold water and one had no water at all. The rooms are small and the hotel's restaurant is very stingy with food and u can't order more than once and it's cold and what's worse is when we tried to check in they missed our reservation that we made two months ago and we got THE worst room possible. The only good thing is the river bed next to hotel.

The place looks great. Have a ground floor room overlooking the river. It's quiet, scenic and relaxing. I can spend listening to the birds and the river all day. The room is comfy and nice. The staff are very helpful and cordial.

The Wifi signal is weak from time to time. I loved the view, so gave it more attention than my gadgets. Found food to be expensive.

Average resort, the staff is most of the times confused. The resort is old u0026 facilities are average. The only best thing about this resort is that it is very near to the river you can spend the morning u0026 night by the river. Food quality is strictly average u0026 have very limited options especially if you are vegetarian. If you want to stay near the river then this is the resort that you want to stay in else there are other options available.
